Admission Conditions: Admissions is restricted to students who are preparing for academic study in a college or university at the undergraduate or graduate level. The ELI begins at a high beginner level, we do not accept absolute beginners.

Academic Admissions Conditions: Washington and Jefferson College offers conditional admission to ELI students who exhibit excellence in academic pursuits. Admission in contingent on meeting the challenges of their English language study and approval from the Director of the ELI.
